Getting My Shape On: Hexagon
One of my favourite shapes these days is hexagon.
In case you have forgotten your shapes lessons from grade 2 … a hexagon is a shape with 6 sides all the same length.
Hexagons are everywhere in home design. From light fixtures to floor tile to kitchen backsplash to wall art.
I used a hexagons marble tile mosaic recently to add detail in a client’s master bathroom reno.
Check out some other places hexagon shapes can be found:
And one of my favourite hexagon shapes of all …

I as well love the hexagon. I think a large space would be a little too much for me, but a small area like a bathroom or back splash would be perfect. Love the first photo you have of your clients bathroom detail. Just perfect. And agree… the last pic….divine. I want one!!
I too am working on a post about this… ha! Recently I found lighting that really got me hooked – love the floor tiles too though – Thank you for visiting and commenting on my blog!
Hi Sarah … Love this. The hex on the barthroom floor .. the pic just after the orange wall is stunning. Of course the that ring would look perfect on my finger
. Great post.
The all white bathroom with it’s very interesting floor pattern and border is amazing! Oh ya and the ring isn’t bad either. :+)
That is a beautiful shape, isn’t it??
